She's Almost Done!!!

86 will be back on Monday, painted ebony black with SS stripes in viper blue metallic, with a blue candy on the entire car with a pearl on top of that and then four coats of clear. Pictures should be up by Monday night that is all.

What wheels do you guys think would look good just start shooting out some suggestions to me, keep in mind they need to have a 6 1/2 back spacing for the rear and i would like 17's nothing bigger.

WayFast84 12-21-2006 08:38 PM

for this car id save up for some real nice iforged or something like that. the car looks killer, everyday I ask myself why did i just spend 2 grand for things with my car when I could have easily saved everypenny and gotten a 4th gen, then when i see a nice thirdgen like yours i remember theese cars can be sexy as hell, I applaud you for not going with 91+ gfx

maroman88 12-22-2006 12:59 AM

u got a problem with 91-92 gfx? i just bought the rest of em for my 88

id hate to see you bite off of paul(hardcorez) but chrome 17" irocs would look amazing with that paint scheme

Tru2Chevy 12-22-2006 08:22 AM

Wow....that's beautiful.

We need to get that car out in the sun and get some more pics!

the 91-92 GFX is the best l;ooking for camaros in my opinion. Only problem with the 91-92 GFX on firebirds is that they become gutters and get filled with all kinds of crap when it rains.......

NJSPEEDER 12-22-2006 05:02 PM

looks great man. congrats

The Fixer 12-22-2006 06:08 PM

If you want the factory-type look, go for a set of 17x9 thin-spoke C5 wheels or 10-spoke Camaro SS rims. The rears won't need adapters, but the fronts will prolly require 2.5" adapters (unless you eventually put LS1 brakes or something else up front). :)
