Favorite factory color?
 

What's all of your favorite colors on fbodies painted from the factory?

I can't get over how good the Bright Purple Metallic looks, maybe it doesn't look as good in person, but man does it look on the computer =p

My personal favorites are black and pewter. And no; I'm not on the SOM bandwagon.

Any variation of copper or orange metallic. The early second gen Lime Green cars are cool. Blue w/white stripe early 2nd gen TAs. And black.

Pewter/SOM

I will say that some colors might look good on some gens and not on others.

Also Silver looks great, esp 1st & 2nd gens.

i love the peweter colors and def black, but the copper/orange metallic looks
awsome on almost anycar even tho it wasnt factory, this is my friends old 02, it looked amazing in blac!!!!!!!!

I like SOM on ls1 SS's and WS.6's. some thirdgens look good with it too. I love arctic white on 87-90 GTA hardtops. Third gen camaro's look great in that medium metallic blue, I dont know the name of it, but Curt's car is that color. I also liked the light blue color my second gen was. Silver works on damn near any car. Black looks amazing, but it has to be kept clean.

SOM, black, arctic white on 3rd or 4th with dark tinted windows and quasar blue

Sebring Silver Metalic, SOM, Electric Blue (Vette) Steel Grey Metalic (Vette) & Torch Red (Vettes)

NBM, Pewter, and that odd gold color, I forget the name of it...

Pewter...definitely!!!!!

Red and most variations of red. There was a color that came on the first year of the C6...want to say lazer red or something like that...what a great color. New one, InfraRed that came on the XLR-V, that is a mighty fine looking red.

bright gold metallic... cool color i see a z28 on my way home from work everyday thats that color.... old guy driving it

hmm wat about the factory yellow 93-94 trans ams. my fav third gen color is the metallic gray and then the quasar blue on 4th gen TA's. best vette color is nassau blue FTW!

The Starlight Black / Sunburst Gold combo.

I had (2) 4th gens, 94 and 96 Bird Green metallic, but was discontinued in ??? 1997

Otherwise, I would have had (3). In todays' world, SOM, and still kicking myself for NOT EVEN considering it! Obviously, you know my first choice, aside from SOM (see avatar/sig)

I really like SOM, and the navy blue that came on the first gens.

Medium Maui Blue Metallic is my favorite 3rd gen color :)
