I was just wondering for this christmas I believe I am getting one of those flip out of the dash dvd/cd players has anyone seen or heard of someone installing one of these in their f body I have a 2000 camaro ss and I am wondering if there would be any problems with the air vents getting in the way?

i have one in my 85 and it gets in the way of the air vents . I just close them if i put the heat on so i dont cook the unit

sorry its not an up close shot.. but you can see it will be in front of the vents, but it does not hit into them, at least mine doesnt, i can still angle it back quite a bit before itll hit. In the summer i just close the center vents with a/c on, and in the winter i use the floor and defroster vents for heat, and keep those center vents shut as well. if i want them to blow air, i just close the screen
