TTT anyone?

It could be lots of things. Not really easy to determine over the net.

we'll need more info. Can you feel it in the steering wheel? Does it happen with just the brakes on? Off? Is the driveway uphill? Downhill? flat?

check the steering rack tie rod ends, mine are bad and it causes a clunking sound and sensation when you turn the wheel, they are look 40 a pop from adavance

i don't remember feeling it in the steering wheel, the brakes are usually on, the driveway is flat but there is about half an inch difference between the road/driveway

thanks guys..

Try putting some grease on the steering stops usually on lower control arm and spindle/knucle??

Kid Racer 12-28-2006 01:59 PM

yeah i would say the same as FESTER... i would try that before anything....

You should check the connecting links for your sway bar.A camaro I had did the same thing, it was a loud clunking and you didnt really feel it in the wheel and when I looked underneath the the bushings for the link on the one side were completely shot and the sound was caused by the sway bar moving up and down.
