Is this a V6 spring?

OK, i have a pic here of 2 springs- the left one is mine out of my 98trans am

the one on the right was out of the 3rd gen that i bought a while ago for a parts car and to get that 9" out of. it was set up for the track my friend said, so im guessing by the look of it, its a V6 spring? if so, i might stick em in the back of my TA, when im putting my 10bolt in. the rear of the car sits about 3/4"-1" lower with them in tho. (had em in the car when i had the 9" in) theyre definately alot softer rate too)

lol such a newbie mistake on my behalf! pic is up now! i talked to tim earlier tonight , he said it looks like it was a V6 spring, and its also cut down a bit. so i probably wont use it (just so i can keep good ground clearance)

The one on the right looks like a cut piece of ****. Don't use it. It does look like it had fewer coils from the factory, to answer your question more directly.
