<<<<<<<<Grandmaster Chopper Flyer + Su-30 bomber =)
Might I suggest picking up the Special Forces package, this way, when u rank up, you get to pick 2 new unlocks instead of just 1 like the normal version.... Im actually an admin with a clan so ur glad to go on over and play there.

With games nowadays, u NEED to run it from the CD, but with programs like Daemon-tools, u can create and image of the CD and play it off the hard drive... u can only play with one account + one cd key at a time tho... so if u have 2 computers (i imagine for home + school?) for your personal use, its fine.

:?:

Nopers :-\ I had an extra copy of BF2 since I upgraded... but I gave it to one of my friends...

EDIT: IIRC, if EA (the maker of BF2) catches somebody sharing CD keys with another account, they will ban both accounts.

Knipps 01-21-2007 01:28 AM

damn, the best buy by me only has the deluxe edition for 40 and has the reg. on order for 4 copies... idk when they're getting it and i don't really want to pay the 40

:willy:

now i gotta try and think of another place around here where i can get it...

Knipps 01-21-2007 01:36 AM

I think its 20... lemme check around for prices... it was $40 back in Nov 2005 when it first came out.. should be at least $30 by now

enRo 01-21-2007 01:44 AM

Hmmm only place I see the original version w/out spec ops is Walmart website and its $29.82 ... special forces seperate is $19.99 (expansion pack only)... so if u wanna shed out the extra $10 i say go for the $40 special lol

Knipps 01-21-2007 01:45 AM

seems like 20 at best buy and more anywhere else...

might go for the special.. we'll see how impatient i get with the demo

PLEASE go for the Deluxe, when you upgrade you won't regret it. That way you can taste the vast arsenal BF2 offers!

So when you get it, we can join squads! Its hard finding good co-operative squads online. Everyone does there own thing most of the time.

Well, u gotta find people whos interested in helping out. Having a mic works well... me and this one guy in the clan team up, he flies the chopper and I gun/tv-guided-missle and we rack up massive points... and since I cant fly a jet for ****, he flies the Su-30 and I am the passenger laser-guided bomber and we take **** out real quick :-D Then u get the occassional idiots that cant do anything but cap flags

I'm afraid to go out and buy it and have my PC not be able to run it.

I tried running the game and it shut down all the time but that might have been because it was a hacked version and not the actual PC's fault.

Knipps 01-21-2007 11:02 AM

try the demo, the only reason my laptop shut off while i was playing it was i overheated

Rafterman 01-21-2007 11:04 AM

i'm gonna play soon. i got the expansion pack instead of the actual game. so i have 2 go get the actual game. and doesn't the euro part of the expansion put in a 68 camaro?

Knipps 01-21-2007 11:33 AM

that thing probably couldnt even run the opening credits

Knipps 01-21-2007 11:46 AM

I should have figured, i'm having enough trouble at 2.19 GHz

Frosty 01-21-2007 12:47 PM

I have a 2.4C chip, a gig of DDR400 ram and an ATI X700 PCI card and it doesn't like it.

It sure as hell won't run Gothic 3 which is REALLY pissing me off :(

enRo 01-21-2007 12:51 PM

I had kinda no problems running it on a 3.2Ghz P4 Sony Viao w/1 gig of RAM with a Raedon X700XL. I had to run it on all low settings .... that was a while ago... now I built my own computer, I run BF2 at MAXED out settings, 4 gig ram, 7950GT GFX card, its amazing. Takes like 15 seconds to load a map compared to my old computer which took a good 1:30 lol
