I normally don't post a link, but there's a lot of pics, so I just put the thread link here. You guys should be able to see them.

On another note, anyone was to buy a 1600 SF townhouse with a 1 car garage (big enough for a 4 post lift!!) and a full basement on an end unit and corner lot?? Only $208K!! :-P

The wallpaper in the bath room sucks.

I had to say something, I am jealous.

thats beautiful man, good luck with the relocation....and illinois just in time to claim the bears as your own :)

very nice...we got our house for a lil more than that 7 years ago, probably cant even buy the first floor for that now lol

NJSPEEDER 01-25-2007 07:54 PM

wow, nice place. soooooooo when's the house warming party? quick shot across the pa turnpike to rt80 and we could all be there to help break inthe new place in about a day. lol

Fast92RS 01-25-2007 07:55 PM

It's 14 hours, almost directly down the PA turnpike and 70. The house is about 15 minutes from St. Louis actually, so no bears bandwagon for me. I'm actually kinda pizzed cause I'm a cowboys fan, and even though I'm in Eagles country, it's NFC east territory and I got to at least see my games.

Housewarming party........:D Y'all are more than welcome. Just give us time to get situated. I've got to figure out how to get four cars there with just two drivers right now. Anyone want to volunteer to drive a Twin Turbo'd C5??? lol

Oh, and the wallpaper is coming out. Ain't no way that junk is staying. I should have taken a pic of the downstairs bathroom........it's hideous. But, the house is a ultra clean foreclosure, and last time it sold was 2004, for the same $225K that we're paying.

The Fixer 01-25-2007 09:27 PM

Holy crap! That's a great buy, nice find! We paid 232K for our house 5 years ago (stupid Bergen County), and it's only a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom 60 year old Colonial with a single garage barely big enough to fit my Monte in. Too bad all the good deals are in the middle of the country! :)

Thats easily a $400k house right there... and in some neighborhoods around here, $600 without a blink of an eye. Awesome deal, lots of luck with it!
