so who wants to work on a FORD?!

Im thinking since im spending all my money on heads/cam, im not going to have any money left to pay someone to do it all...so who has a warm garage or wants to come work in mine with a propane heater for a weekend? beer/pizza will be provided

Well, my barn's temp right now is probably hovering about ohhh 15 degrees right now, so I dunno if ya want to do it here just yet, but its also quite a ride for you.

yeah i wont be doing it for a few weeks...i can use my garage but it isnt heated, but i do have a nice propane heater that throws some good heat. plus id like to keep it somewhere close to home in case something comes up and it has to sit for a few days

let me know when you plan on doing this. I could possibly lend a hand

GP99GT 02-05-2007 07:35 PM

i wanna try to do it before the dyno day in march, if we get a heat wave or something

if not, ill just dyno it in march as it sits now but with the previous problems fixed, then do all the work in april or something when it starts gettin warmer

bad64chevelle 02-05-2007 07:45 PM

what were the previous problems?

GP99GT 02-05-2007 07:54 PM

it was misfiring and breaking up randomly due to a bad distributor rotor, and i had a couple of small vacuum leaks too. also had a sticking EGR, so when the computer thought it was opening, it really wasnt, so that created some problems too.
