Just installed the MN12 into my T/A
just got done the tranny swap to the MN12, holy hell its nice.
before in 6th gear @ 2k i was at 78mph. now w/ the GTO tranny im at 68mph. im rowing through the gears alot faster and more often now. i cant wait to see what it does at the track here the specs of the 2 trannys fbody z06/gto 1st - 2.66 2.97 2nd - 1.78 2.07 3rd - 1.30 1.43 4th - 1.00 1.00 5th - 0.74 0.84 6th - 0.50 0.56 and thats through the 4.10s lol im guessing it would b equivalent to about 4.30ish rear gear. what do you think? -brandon |

looks like a nice streetable alternative to gearing the crap out of your car... hows does 4th gear feel? looks like a pretty big jump between 3rd to 4th

4th pulls real nice.
this should work out great for street/strip/road race setup that i have. if atco is open next week ill be there seeing if i can hit a new best and get a 10sec time slip. we'll see -brandon |

its a lil stronger from what ive heard and also due to the ratios, which was the main reason for my choice,
Im just trying a new/different setup since im only 1 of a handful of ppl that have done it. and see what it yields -brandon |
