ok well im gonna replace the sparkplugs... wires... possibly the coils if i cant clean them up well... what brand do you recommend... will anyone really give me a noticeable power difference?

Delcos or NGK. Wont notice a diffence unless the ones you have now are bad

bobb1589 03-17-2007 07:23 AM

Delco, Autolite, NGK. Just make sure to get the stock heat range and set it to the stock gap. Do NOT assume that plugs are pre-gapped correctly (if at all).

yeah, plugs dont come pregapped. regular wires are ok, though sometimes its cheaper or just as cheap to buy a set of Taylor wires as it is to buy a regular set from an auto parts store. i like autolite plugs, delco is good too.

if you go to the vinland advance DO NOT get the Xact Fit wires...i had them on mine, a frind of mine with a 3.4 firebird and an ass load of customers i had from working there all had them melt on us...there trash

GP99GT 03-17-2007 03:01 PM

champion makes a set of wires under the name Powerpath...theyre pretty decent. we sell them at the store i work at, never had a complaint
