Gone fishing!

I got the harness wired up today and I put the dock in the water yesterday so I figured I might as well put the boat in for the season. The SS tows much better than a plain Z28 with the stiffer suspension. The river is a little high but it made it easier to put the dock in and to launch the boat. Now that the boat is out of the way, it's time to work on some mods for the car.

How much would an NOS, properly date coded GM hitch cost? I have one, but it is date 01-70, so I'm sure Jeff wouldn't want it.

That date code is perfect for the 70 SS. I had a 69 dated hitch but sold it to someone that needed it more than me. And here's something you guys probably never thought of, the other 69 Z28 JL8 4 wheel disc brake car I had, was used for towing and still had the trailer wiring and hitch bolts in it when I got the car. I can't imagine towing with a solid lifter 302 which makes no torque but I'm sure the guy had no problems stopping with the 4 wheel disc brakes!
