Thanks for making the cruise a good one :) next time I'll make it when it's warm out. Should we do this monthly?

I felt that way at the roadhouse meet last month when I was waiting for my 96 to get back to me.

Sucks I missed this one, I will hopefullay catch the next. And monthly sounds goods to me too..........

1972LT1 04-01-2007 01:18 AM

Nope...I was the oldest.I came out to the Wallmart lot to meet up with peeps from the board. But I couldn't cruise to wawa. I helped one of my buds move today and he said the beer was on him tonight. As much as I wanted to cruise, free beer takes priority.

wrong generation 04-01-2007 01:20 AM

well i had the oldest from the ones at wawa if that counts :)

i think next time we need to have name tags lol

We went to the stop and shop parking lot until 11:30 and hung out. It was hilarious. We were sitting next the mcdonalds side of the lot and a bunch of other cars were in the middle of the stop and shop lot. A cop ran them out , but left us alone lol. It was awesome.

CALL911 04-01-2007 06:26 PM

It was great meeting everyone and seeing the car scene for the first time in NJ. Where I am from in Indiana, I would spend almost every Friday and Saturday night out at the local hang out with all of my car buddies. We would pretty much hang out until someone wanted to race, or cruise around. The only thing I didn't care to take part in was all the raccing on the road right in front of us. Rob said it right when he mentioned it seemed like Atco. We would race around a bit back home as well, but we would drive somewhere that was a little more remote, and there was no traffic (not to mention cops).

The wife had a good time as well, but it was a little too chilly to fully enjoy. I'll enjoy it more when I have my Z back on the East coast to join the party in. Then the wife will be happier as well since she can have the Formula to drive, while I cruise in "CALL911".

I was amazed at how many more cars were out being as cold as it was. I'm looking forward to seeing how it will be when its warmer out. We will definatly be up for making this a monthly thing, although when its nice out, I wouldn't be surprized to find myself out there 3-4 weekends (nights) a month.

I'll be pwned by the work schedule but whenever I'm off I'll be down there

Is the bus depot still off limits?

That seems to be the place for the locals to hang, I've driven there and seen chairs out, big group of kids hanging.

Best bet is to find a local car friendly business and talk with the local Police and set up something. I bet if we keep the lot clean, no drinking and no burnouts and the cops know thats where we will be it may work.
