i'm talking with a kid on facebook who's talking about hypothetically entering w/ a 400hp+ passat
i was busting on him by telling him it would take more than a turbo to make 400 to the rear wheels
he claimed i lacked common sense b/c i told him that would require a cam, tune, intake, MAF, etc
but he never mentioned anything like that until he mentioned a company that offers them "streetwerke"

Isn't a Passat front wheel drive? So, how is it gonna make power to the rear wheels?

Knipps 04-03-2007 10:17 PM

So far, everyone (except the chicks on Day 1) were eliminated for vehicle troubles. Reliability and good navigating are key in this race, it seems. And, I thought those Bimmer boyz were done earlier in the episode; I'm surprised that thing fired up again and ran again! Good series so far, I like it!

wrong generation 04-03-2007 10:35 PM

wonder what it takes to get into a race like bullrun or cannonball run iv always wanted to do one of these types of races ever sense i watched cannonball run

Glad Lambo was gone, you're right he was a tool. But so is the guy with the Lotus Elise, he's always wearin hollywood shades, sportin a mohawk and kissed the flag girl on the lips tonight. Not to mention constantly talking ****, he's a ******** tool shed. I'm looking for fonzie in the Olds to go next, I want the mexicans to stay they are great comedy haha.

GO TEAM TRANS AM!

maroman88 04-03-2007 11:34 PM

lol yea good episode, the lambo tools didnt wanna spend any more money to keep fixing the car, if you can afford to buy a lambo u better as all hell have the money to fix it!

ryanfx 04-04-2007 12:02 AM

trans am girl is smokin.. I would hate to be her father

someGTOguy 04-04-2007 12:17 AM

i did a little google searching... there is something where u can enter for a chance to win the registration fee paid ($17,500) by registering with cardomain or something like that. gotta be 21 by entry deadline tho (i'll be a month short :-\ )

and I think thats just to get into the bullrun competition, as opposed to on the show. would still be a blast!

Untamed 04-04-2007 10:51 AM

The Lambo boys shoulda kept the raccoon and made a hat at least.
