Just got Triple A

Good deal...now when my chitz break down I can get 'em towed for a lesser price. On that note, I should have my azz towed over to Booger King for a QUADRUPLE WHOPPER!!!

haha, when we had my car fixed I used all the towes up!

AAA Plus FTW - I had them tow the 77 home when I bought it. 98.5 miles - just under the 100 mile maximum.

Yeah, I got the Plus. I figure once I have the T Type's suspension back in I'm gonna have it towed to a shop in Pennsyltucky to have it sorted out, so the AAA will really come in handy. And I never know when the Pimp Daddy Caddy will decide to break down again...

BonzoHansen 04-07-2007 04:24 PM

Plus is nice because they will tow it where you want it (w/i 100 miles). Regular AAA is only supposed to take you to the next available station.

dont you need insurance too?

BonzoHansen 04-07-2007 05:43 PM

I worked it out w/the old owner, he was a good guy. Paid him on Sunday, insurance on monday, title on tuesday, tow home on friday.

All AAA wants to see is plates & your AAA card. I've never been asked for insurance.

Teds89IROC 04-07-2007 08:40 PM

What does that AAA plus run you?

Yeah, they tried to pull that 'next available station' crap on me when my Jeep broke down on a Sunday night...in the middle of nowhere...when nothing was open...with my wife and baby in the car. Until I pointed out to the driver that I had AAA Plus, he was going to dump me and my family at a rest stop where there wasn't even a service station.

In the end, the power of persuasion won out and I got towed from somewhere in Bedminster all the way to Wantage. No charge. AAA Plus rocks.

Best 150 bucks you can spend.. used it 3 times in one year.. well worth it. Plus we travel alot and you can get some good deals.

Savage_Messiah 04-11-2007 12:37 AM

I can't even count how many times I've used the AAA plus . Well worth it.
