Smokin' crack.

Some thing I ponder...has anyone tried smokin' crack on a whim or a dare? I mean like smoked it only once and not become addicted? The way crack smokin' is portrayed in popular venues is once ya smoke ya are hooked. If anyone has info and doesn't want to list it here in the public eye, please PM me.
Thanks

Bad stuff. I have a friend from high school that got stuck on it, pretty quick & pretty bad. He recently got arrested trying to buy his daily dose (we saw him in the police blotter in the asbury park press), and has pissed away a nice inheritence. Sad, really.

I know a couple guys that have tried it once & never again (according to them, at least). They said the high wasn't good and wasn't worth the $$. Just reporting what they told me, so whatever.

Never I. I was always a drinker and was happy doing it. IMO, bad drugs are not worth the potential headaches.

Nah, not looking to smoke crack, I'm a dedicated fan of my woolies. I'm just wondering about the addiction factor of smokin' crack. I always get a kick outa watching "Cops" and seeing them busting crack heads.

they say its the #1 most addictive substance. One hit and hooked. The high only lasts a few minutes, then time to score more. Since its so cheap, it works great in impoverished communities. Cheap to make, cheap to buy.

I work with a girl who did it. Was kidding with her after she disappeared for like 15mins and said "I know you were smoking crack out back". Suprisingly she responded by saying "No way I'll never do that **** again!"

The person is always trying to chase that "first high" just like with heroin...

Exactly. And now with meth so easy to make and buy, it's become the #1 drug problem in America. One fact I found scary with heroin, not sure if it's the same with meth or not, but after only a few uses, it permanently alters your DNA. I wander if thats why hardcore addicts look like mutants

I do cocaine so I can work harder so I can make more money I can buy more cocaine so I can work harder so I can make more money I can buy more cocaine I can work harder so I can make more money I can buy more cocaine I can work harder so I can make more money I can buy more cocaine....

...eh, I've know guys like that. They either stop or it ends up biting them in the azz...job loss, family issues, money woes, the cops, etc.

IMO, drugs are a personal decision, I think they should legalize (and tax) weed. But like any decision, it is a matter of weighing risk & reward. To me, the potential trouble drugs can cause do not outweigh the 'reward'. I'll stick to drinks, thanks.
