1999 corvette salvage - GONE

Most of you guys know about the car. It's a 99 c5. Automatic. targa. The car is electron blue with gray interior. Has 81500 miles. Car was involved in a freshwater flood. Engine should be rebuildable, water is in the intake. The car has a vararam intake, slp exhaust and chrome z06 wheels with good amoun t of tread left on the firehawk wide oval tires. This is a great project for somebody with mechanical skills. You could have a great car for less than half of what these retail for.I am looking to get $8500 for the car as it sits. You can come look at the car this weekend if you'd like, i can also send pics.

pic for now

If you part it out I would be interested in the brakes.

If nobody is seriously interested by monday morning. i will just let the insurance company take the car. I don't want a car i cant use right now sitting in front of my house. I'm looking for 8-8,500 for it. If you are mechanically inclined you can have a nice car for about 1/3 of what they retail for. I live in Gloucetser city, NJ

WayFast84 04-21-2007 11:36 PM

wait

can you part with the wheels and give the car to insurance on crap wheels?? or no

Blacdout96 04-22-2007 09:32 AM

would that be under a salvage title or still be a clean title if they dont take it?

1984camaroz28 04-22-2007 05:38 PM

trade ya a nice 98 Trans am m6 for it with a good amount of mods and Boyd cottington Smootie 2s

HardcoreZ28 04-29-2007 08:35 PM

Hey man is there any water damage to the interior or electrical system that you know of? Or did the engine just suck up enough to hydrolock it?

1984camaroz28 04-29-2007 09:32 PM

he let the insurance company take the car :(

armymp1983 05-01-2007 09:30 AM

Car is gone. the had an unreasonable buyback on it. i was going to sell it or make a full on drag car out of her.
