backfire....OOOOPS
 
i changed my cap and rotor and when i put the wires back on they were all off by one and wouldnt start, dumbass mistake in a rush by me! so i got them all in the right spots and now she fired up and is backfiring and smoking.

did i thorw the timing off?????? or wat?

How did you install the rotor? Did you put it on in the same direction as the old one?

yup, 88 is non HEI with the seperate coil

yup im retarted, had the #3 and #6 wires crossed on the dizzy, all is well now

this is why you pull one off at a time and put it on the new cap in the same position ;)
