cooling fan
ok... the cooling fan motor blew in my grandparents 89 ford taurus 3.0l v6 ... i got the new motor. replaced it etc. and to test it i turned on the A/C ( as the motor always runs when the A/C is on) and it didnt turn on. i figure ok maybe bad plug, so i test the plug and it reads fine. then i make a jumper and test the motor itself and that is fine. so... here i am... both ends work fine, but when i plug it in it doesnt work. i put a volt meter on when i plugged it in and the volt meter zero's out when i put the two ends together... any suggestions?

Fan Relay?
- Justin |
nah... took it to the shop... they said "its the computer" of course they will go for the most expensive job... but whatever its not my car so its out of my hands now though... thanks for the suggestion..and if the relay were bad why would the socket still have power?
|
Did it also have ground?
|
there was a power and negative... we thought it was a ground problem somewhere but its already in the garage so they already started the work... i was gonna play with some grounds today when i got out of class but my dad already drove it to the shop :/
