Fuel Regulator preference?

So i finally found a home for my old vette motor. Gonna be putting the built LO5 into a 89 RS.

I'm looking at fuel regulators. I plan to use the stock in-tank electric pump and need to drop the pressure to 7 psi for my carbed motor. Opinions?

Return style or deadhead?

I'd suggest a return style, but only because I've always been told that the returns are easier on the pumps. The others are always holding pressure against the pump which shortens their life.

Holley or B.G. are probably the most often used.

Agreed, a return is definetly better for the fuel system. I'm just not sure what type he needs for his app.

since you are converting from the fuel injected V6 a return style would be pretty easy to plumb in. give matt barnett a call and see what one he used for his 454SS when he did the carb conversion.
