cats are cats. jsut get whatever you can pick up for cheap. the 'high flow' models only flow a few percent more than stockers.
i would suggest having them installed in a way that you can swap in test pipes. you will be amazed at the power difference. |

I may be mistaken, but i'm almost 100% sure it is illegal for a shop to install a full exhaust without cats. Like i think they can get fined BIG TIME. They can use clamps and not weld them onto the y-pipe. This way U can change them out. I.E. what u do when u get home is your business...the car had cats on it when it left their shop. |
if you get headers and an off road y-pipe you can jsut go to an exhaust shop with the cats or ask them for cats with flanges on them so you can swap them on and off easily.
any exhaust place will be able to do the work for ya pretty easy. just make sure they use some sort of flanges on the cats and pipes and don't just slip fit and clamp it. once pipes are clamped together for a while they can be a complete PITA to get apart. |

if i get wat ur saying ur saying its just having them make it easy to take off the cats |
the "test pipe" is just a pipe that's the same length as the cat that you can install in your exhaust when you remove the cats. Allows you to make more power, but still bolt in the cats to be legal when you want.
