Wow, those were some intense thunderstorms!

It was like a war zone here in Ewing about 3 hours ago! I had to shut down the computer and disconnect everything. We had so many close hits of lightning it was crazy! My phone did the quick short ring right before the kaboooom several times. I had to check to make sure my heart was still working after a couple of those sizzle sounding close hits. My poor dog is already scared of thunder and fireworks so this put her on the brink. I honestly don't remember storms this intense in the last 15-20 years. But everything looks to be ok. I could do without that intensity the rest of the summer!

In Hillsborough we heard the rumbles, had a few flashes of lightning to the south of us, but that was it. Seemed like it was Princeton / Flemington on southward.

We had nothing up north. A little rain in CLifton area around 6:00 on my way home from my grandmother's, and the ground was a little wet by my house when I got home...but it never really rained or anything here in Wayne. I love lightning and thunder storms...oh well.

As long as it doesn't do it next Friday afternoon I don't really care ;)

PBodyGT87 06-02-2007 09:05 AM

yeah, but can you get pictures of the lightening? Hmmm... I smell a challenge coming on...

They stayed a little north of me last night, it followed me home from York, PA though.
