Fast92RS 06-05-2007 08:09 PM

Yeah it is a nice car. Ive seen a few adds for those electric superchargers on ebay. They are not that expensive maybe around $100.

99.9999% of the electric ones are ebay are boat bilge pumps... TRUE electric superchargers ARE available but cost in the range of belt driven ones.

um, where's he hiding the 6AL? is that inside the electric supercharger?

ryanfx 06-06-2007 11:56 AM

electric superchargers that actually work are actually pretty cool. They charge up a buffer of energy off of your alternator and use it all for about 20-30 seconds of leech-less boost =D

I was reading up on this a while back -- if I remember correctly, all they really do is just blow more air into your intake; no real pressure is created. So basically, it just acts as a weak blower.

Brando56894 06-06-2007 08:10 PM

i was reading up on them too awhile back, it would be a pretty cool idea if they could create a decent amount of pressure

Jared1970Chevelle 06-06-2007 11:24 PM

that is some kind of bendable waterdrain hose from the turbo to intake hahahahah..... LMFAO....
