BonzoHansen 06-13-2007 02:12 PM

I thought nox is often egr, so maybe something else in the egr system (relay, etc.)

SES light?

Car stock?

EGR valve could be working but clogged in the manifold. Try using seafoam then replace the plugs. Somewhat common on high milage LT1s.

Yea if it looks like a 5 yr old drew it with crayola markers. I have seen stickers at car shows on cars that are faded (almost white), that were obiously ripped off another car (sticker was ripped and had tape holding it on the windsheild), and i have even seen them with white-out on them covering up the VIN# which was from another car.

I kno ppl who have gone to private shops and "bought" their stickers, and they are real stickers...they just dont go through the proper procedures to test the car, it has your correct VIN# on it . The only way i htink you could get caught by a cop with a "bought" sticker is if your car is obiously not street legal (sounds like a jet plane, smells like an 80 yr old man s*it himself, ect..)

or he can fix the problem on his car causing the high NOx. Did you take it to a shop and have them look at it? Cause doesn't NJ want to see receipts that work was done professionally after failing inspection??

not preessionally, you can do it yourself, the reciepts thing is if you spend a certain amount fixing it and it still doesnt pass, theyll pass you anyway.

If they can't measure NOX, then go somewhere that can.
