Dude!! thats awsome, I love those kinds of finds, the ones just sticking outta the weeds. If you guys like these kind of stories, just happening to come across random vehicles n stuff, I recommend a book and I guarentee you wont put it down, it's called Cobra in the barn, its real life stories abotu people who came across rare cars and dream cars of theres buy luck, including the story of the first daytona cobra car built, that was lost for almost 30 years!!, I cant stop reading it, and I love to go around and just happen to see something that caught my eye, and come across something like that...

Can you give me the exact location of that peice. I am a FF for the PAFD. Id like to go take some pics of it and maybe see if we can drag it out of there.

I dont know the street name off the top of my head, but its on inman ave passed the train tracks going towards Martin luther king school, it is on the street before the getty or gulf station on the same side as the gas station.

If you want shoot me a pm and you can stop by my house, and I can show you exzactly where it is.

It might belong to some one, its on the corner of a lot..

You should see the floor and you will think the condition is worse..

Let me know when you find more info about it! How did you figure out who owned it?

the last stingray was found in a barn, they probably have it in that book, although my dad and I saw it on the speed channel one night.

Thats a pretty cool find. Keep us posted on it.

Fast92RS 06-25-2007 09:10 PM

We now who brought when it was put out of service by the city. And by the plate thats still on it. Since the plate and registration has expired we dont know if he still owns it or he abandonded it. Im working on it but Im not getting much help. So it may soon become a dead issue. I dont have room for it at my home otherwise I would just drag it out of there.
