Took the truck to get a little dirty today!

Well, since I got the tires on last week, I needed to give the truck its first test. Only thing close by was Colliers Mills, so I took it through there, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with how the Pro Comp's handled the sugar sand down there. Well, here goes.

Where the hell in Colliers Mills is that? I go out there all the time and the other group of offroaders in my town tell me they go to a completly different section than me. I cant seem to find this hidden section... I got in on the power lines on the road with the jackson vocational on it right off 571. Where the hell do you go in?

I go up 539 to Colliers Mills Road and once I see the sign for the place a hit a Right, and follow it in. I havent gone the powerlines because my buddy got his truck impounded doing that! Once you hit that right into Colliers Mills itself, those hills arent too far in on the left hand side, and the rest of the stuff is way back pretty much on base...needless to say we got in and out of that part fast, we just wanted those shots. Following fences with "WARNING: Radiation Zone" isn't too cool.

I work Saturday through Wednesday, 4:00 PM to midnight. I can go out and play any day during the week as long as I'm back up in the Ewing area by 3:00 PM.

O so you go in the front entrance and get to the trails from there? I've always wondered if there was more stuff on the other end so I guess there is. Yeah about the powerlines, my friends mom's boyfriends (blah I know) is some high up guy in the jackson police and he said they never ever go back there which is why we dont hesitate to go. Those are open hunting trails anyway so as long as you tell them your scouting out a hunting spot for the upcoming season and not hitting the mud they should leave you alone.

PS: If a cop ever trys to tell you they are towing your truck make sure you ask where the no trespassing signs are because if theres none a report gets written and you get kicked out and thats it. When I got caught under powerlines in howell the cop was cool as hell making fun of how stuck I was and how lucky I was to have a buddy with a bigger truck. He told me that all that was going to happen was a report was going to be written so it was on record and that JCP&L was going to be notified I was on there property. He also said since JCP&L didnt have signs up they couldnt take any legal action.

Moral of the story dont wheel 300feet from houses.

 yeah, Id rather not make a mess outta things like that...did alot of that when I had my quad (when i was a few years younger), and now that I need money for school, and other bills that are important paying to get my truck outta the impound is very low on the list.
