Frame Damage

Anyone in here have any experience with frame damage. My 69 firebird must have been hit in the back. I didn?t notice it when I first bought the car. But both sides on the rear section of the car are kinked in right where the back wheels are. I noticed this when I was replacing my rear suspension. This did not worry so much at first but now where the kinks are the metal is cracking. I was just wondering if anyone had any situations like this and how much would I expect to get it fixed or if I can. I also found out that the passenger rear shock tower is rusted out so I have to replace that. Its a no wonder the car had the back fenders and trunk replaced. Please somebody help or let me know of any reputable shops? This car hasnt been on the road since atleast 2001 and ive only owned it since 2004.

Yeah, I do. I am replacing all of the rear sheet metal on my '69 Camaro. I did the frame rails and trunk pan already (check out the "New Metal" link in my sig).

Can you post a pic? Fortunetly it's somewhat easy to replace part of the frame in sections.

At the very least I suggest that you get a couple of plumb bobs and check out your entire chassis according to these specs:

Don't be worried! It is certainly very disheartening but it can all be fixed.
