more proof that you don't really give a damn about the people's opinion...

Imagine if every one actually posted on here

NJSPEEDER 07-15-2007 08:48 PM

overall we average about 1/4 of the membership being active at any given time, it is a bit lower in the summer months since people are out actualy doing stuff.
hopefully some of the new things we are working on for the site will get more people more invovled. :)

what point is there to miss? you claim to do what the general consensus on this site asks...yet this is more proof that you're going to do w/e you want and ***** everyone else

1/4? lol i see the same 20ish people post here everday. 1/4 would be 375 different users  math > you

NJSPEEDER 07-15-2007 09:08 PM

i said i was excited about hitting the 1500 mark, and i also know that the thread i refered to had 2 posts saying that they didn't want updates and many more saying they were happy to hit the mark.
sorry if we have to look out for more than jsut your opinion j0n, but that is life.
i think we can also look at the continued growth in membership and activity with in the club as good evidence that the many hours of research and hard work that get put into each decision made for the club are working.
i think everyone is pretty clear on your position at this point, everything i do or get invovled in is wrong, you don't like me, and you don't like the club.
we will continue to work for the long term good of the club and the members. there is no expectation that everyone will be happy with every change made over teh coming months/years, but we will continue to make every effort to do what is best for the club.

i also said that the useage was down during the summer months since people were outside. if you take the year on a whole it is about 26ish% active membership.

Tsar 07-15-2007 09:16 PM

making 10 posts per year doesn't make u active. i don't ever consider myself active anymore and i have waaay more then that.

NJSPEEDER 07-15-2007 09:19 PM

the active membership is based on the number of people who sign in to the site, not just those who post. we have several members that do not post often, or ever pretty much, that read the forums regularly. there are also many members that rarely post that participate in club activities when we are in their area.
