ted gerlach 07-23-2007 06:11 AM

deal with dad was , get rid of all the 3rd gen parts and finnish his 72 monte carlo, still have many parts to get rid of and not much work fo me to do to the monte carlo, then it goes to get the interior redone,

SteveR 07-24-2007 10:42 PM

Thats AWESOME! What are your plans for it? I probably have a bunch of Y-Block parts from my old '55 F-250.

Featherburner 07-24-2007 10:49 PM

That looks like a good find. Good luck with it.

ted gerlach 07-25-2007 06:09 AM

got it off the trailer last night took just about 1 hour, tried to fire it up but there is no spark, i think there is a problem with the points, or coil,

plans are to make it drivable, them have the interior done in rolled and pleated, old skool custom, then take the complete family out for some fun,
but first i need to get it into the garage,

thanks everone for the comments i fell in love with this car when i was 7 years old,
