Whats the coolest thing that you have done/witnessed or anything like that auto wise?

to me it was meeting scott settlemire at the auto show!

next to that i'd have to say watchin a 3rd gen maro come off the line in a crazy wheel stand only to drift into the other lane and land squarely on top of the fox body it was racing. (every1 walked away)

I dont see the pic. Me, riding in the McLaren F1 GTR two Labor Days ago

I drove myself to Boca Raton Executive Airport at the age of 17, flew my first three-leg solo, wracked up 6 hours of solo flight time, then drove home.

Other than that, a whole lotta stupid speeding attempts at early morning hours with friends in the car - a 1988 Mitsubishi Starion. So glad I lived through that period.

Power Tour. And I only did 2 stops.

its pays to go to etown at events where no one goes

watching force and amato trade the NHRA speed record back and forth no less than 5 times in one weekend many years ago at etown. their pits were close enough for them to yell cheap jokes back and forth, it was great.

that was alo the last time i could afford to go to all 4 days of a national event too :(

going to Don Garlits museum in Ocala, FL and asking if he was around and the lady saying he stepped out but would be back soon. My mom asked if she could call him and tell him Eddie Kowalick (my grandfather)'s daughter and granddaughter were there, so she did, and it turned out he was in the back room. We were invited back to hang out and talk to him and his wife.

the car show that comes around in late summer in lake george. by far the coolest thing car related i have ever seen. its more than a couple days worth of cars to look at and they are all well restored muscle cars. :drool:

that reminds me of one more thing... the summer nationals in worchester, ma.. the entire city gets shut down 4th of july weekend for a car show, there's people driving around with open headers, burnout contests left and right, stunt bikes, a giant show in a park, it was AMAZING!!

If i get a 12 mo. lease on my apartment, i WILL be up there for that :lol:

By far the best thing ive witnessed and have taken part in was probably the cruise in Ocean City. Nothing but amazing cars making noise, roasting some tires, and possibly going a little over the speed limit.

Couple things:

1. Getting into my first car magazine with my v6

2. Getting a cover shot/ full spread in a magazine with my v6

3. Pulling a tire off the ground N/A in my 180 rwhp v6

4. Driving a nascar winston cup race car to 170 mph

5. Cruising around in a car with night vision.... I have video

mine is simple..

First time at the track (island). I always wanted to do it, and finally getting to do it and placing a respectable time really meant something to me. Guess its just one of those life goals. May not seem like much to most of u guys since most of u hit the track all the time.

Driving @ Skip Barber in Dodge powered Mazda cars.

Ah man I was gonna say my raing school as well, I still cant stop watching the video of my last day. But the McLaren was what made me sign up, literally after I got out of the car I walked up tot he tent and said sign me up lol.

I saw a Z06 do a burnout on Route 9. I never go to automotive-related events.

seeing a jet engine strapped to a test bed and run in full augmentor... im a jet engine mechanic btw lol

For me it is every day I put the t-tops in the trunk and take the IROC to work. Each day is better than the last.
