i need some motor mounts for this fall, preferbly sooner. i wanna tighten it up a lil under the hood. i have the urethane trans mount, and its tight, but the shifter is still moving some when i womp down on the mofo.

what torque arm do you have? i know craig's trans stopped jumping all over the place as soon as he switched to a shorter torque arm that used the mid chassis brace instead of the tailhousing.

looking around a few of the LS1 boards it looks like most people get the prothane mounts. i found them on thunder's site for $62, part # 47-7-512

eff that. i just threw them in a vise and clamped away. the trick to installing them is loosening up the pedestals and gear wrenches. took me and goofy 3 working days but i bet i can do them in a couple hours now.
