there was a show on discovery or tlc not long ago about peopel converting missle silo's into homes. i don't know if this place is special for some reason, but i seem to remember them mentioning them selling for a few hundred thousand, not 1.5 mill.

i saw on another board that they started doing this, that would be an awesome place if you have the 1.5 mil to spend on it

there was one built in mahwah during the cold war to protect NYC
i'm not sure exactly where but i think it's been built over now
