Brake HELP
 
i have a 99 camaro ss....im looking into a brake kit front and rear...any ideas? whats the best way to go?

I don't know the best way, but the previous owner on my car did the C5 Vette brake up grade in the front, braking is excellent, parts are readily available and the conversion is relatively cheap and straight forward. Downside, weight. The Vette calipers are heavier, the rotors are heavier and you have to grind the spindle in one area. The trackbrackets are $250, the rotors new from GM are $65 a side, the calipers new from GM are $125-$140 a side, good pads $65-100 and that's all you really need, that and 17" wheels if you don't already have them. I completely redid my front brakes this spring (new calipers, rotors, pads) and everthing fit perfect with no problems. That's my expierence. Good Luck.
