I guess that's a good thing to have it together earlier than expected even though I can't drive it. |
I would go but I'm heading to Etown for the last EFI race event of the season. Sounds like a good show.

I may roll with you Scott if you dont mind, May being the key word. I may be going home that weekend, I have to find out for sure |
So who is in? Barring issues, I plan on going.
|
I dont think I can go I have to help my friend get rid of an engine but since he wont be able to be there I am helping his father do it.
|
Unless it rains we'll be there, waiting to here where your going to meet up
|
Still no plates.
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: I should've just driven to Trenton. |
Mud, you are south of me, aren't you? If it is just you & me, if you want we could take rt1 all the way up. That would help with your highway speed issues, albeit slow our progress down - matters not to me. Else we take the NJT and I could follow you letting you set the pace.
We can meet at my house right off 295 in Hamilton. It starts at 10, so we could leave my house at 9. http://home.att.net/%7Echevy57/flyers/071020newark.jpg I was hoping BTK was going since he knows the area (I really don't), but he may still be down with his Dad. Jeff?? There is also a slight chance I would have to bail on Saturday. My Mom is having surgery on Friday. But we expect no issues. |
Yes we are south of you, I'll plan on being at your house around 830-845. We can go either way. I don't mind the highway, I just try not to push it past 3100 RPM when cruising, I'm guessing around 50-55. The speedometer isn't hooked up. 410 rear and 28" tire if anyone wants to do the math. People are usually flying past us so its hard to judge, not like anyone in NJ drives the speed limit. I'll send you a PM with my number.
|
The math, LOL.
You: 28" OD, 1:1 high gear, 4.10 gears 5000 RPM 101.59 MPH 4500 RPM 91.43 MPH 4000 RPM 81.27 MPH 3500 RPM 71.11 MPH 3000 RPM 60.95 MPH 2500 RPM 50.79 MPH 2000 RPM 40.63 MPH 1500 RPM 30.48 MPH 1000 RPM 20.32 MPH Me: 26.6" OD, 1:1 high gear, 3.73 gears 5500 RPM 116.56 MPH 5000 RPM 105.96 MPH 4500 RPM 95.36 MPH 4000 RPM 84.77 MPH 3500 RPM 74.17 MPH 3000 RPM 63.58 MPH 2500 RPM 52.98 MPH 2000 RPM 42.38 MPH 1500 RPM 31.79 MPH 1000 RPM 21.19 MPH I PM'd you my info. |
Not too much of difference
|
When you said you had 28" tires, I knew we'd be close.
|
I'm still hoping to go but the car started acting up again yesterday. It appears to be electrical related so I'm not sure what I'll be doing yet.
|
Does anyone know if the cars will be parked in a lot or on the grass?
|
No idea.
Tim is riding with me. Jeff, the white car broken too? |
I'm still not sure what I'm doing tomorrow at this point. I guess I'll make a decision in the morning.
