getting another f-body

as a DD this time.
its a 94 v6 firebird. auto, runs, black, looks cool but engine is not. gonna beat on it till it stops running, then swap engine. getting it for 1000. will post pics

any suggestions on what do to once i get it. any performance (yes i know its a v6) suspension wise, or brakes or anything else?

Wouldn't hurt to start on suspension & a cat-back if you plan on doing a swap anyway someday in the future.

It's a daily driver. Even though its an F-body, don't dump any more money into it than you have to.

yea deff dont dump more money in to then have too. i did that with my bird and one little thing and i sold it. the moron who bought it sold it a few mouths later sold it and bought an xbox 360 i hate that kid for whta he did but anyway good luck and be safe with it

im thinking sfcs, and just get the brakes/tires done if they need it, and make the interior look nice. its not bad now, just make it nicer

:stupid:

save the money spending for the other car. until that is totally tricked out with every possible cool thing you can find, then spend money on the V6 car

dont put a catback on the 3.4, it will just annoy you and the drone will suck on a dd

if its purely gonna be a dd, i would do a little handling suspension stuff, nicer oem wheels, and some interior mods.

if you need a catback i would get a stock v8 catback, it will flow better, be a little louder and not be annoying as a ricer

Man, you got the life kid! LOL :-P

lol, im buying this thing by myself. i need a car that i can beat on and drive in the rain and not so good weather. i drove my car in the rain once, and going up the side hill of my school i spun the tires. (it was pretty cool since everyone saw it). but still, thanks for the suggestions. i think im just going to do what ever it needs really and not spend too much extra

Since it's a DD, don't bother with much of anything. It's a 3.4, so there isn't nearly as much out there as there is for the 3.8 guys.

Werd. Daily driver = no ridiculous $$ spent on it, unless absolutely necessary. When it needs parts replaced though (shocks/struts, brakes, etc.) the upgraded parts sometimes don't cost much more than the cheapy crap, so buy good stuff then. Like when my Cherokee needed shocks, I upgraded to Bilsteins ($60/each at AutoZone), and I put good brakes on when they needed replaced as well.
