How to tell 2nd gen front suspensions apart?

I'm trying to figure out what the differences are with the 2nd gen front suspensions by year. I know they changed a few things over the years but I'm not sure what. The reason I'm asking is that there's a 2nd gen front suspension on the Belvedere and I want to buy new parts for it but I'm not sure what year car it came out of.

From what I remember, the 80-81 control arms have funky bushing sizes, and subframes from 70-73 and 74-81 are not interchangable.

This is the only pic I have that has any part of the front suspension in it. I'll try and take some pics of it soon.

Wheel bearings changed over time (78 maybe) so rotors and/or spindles changed, you could check by those. And control arm (lower, I think) changed bushing size in the early years.

Try searching in the suspension section at www.nastyz28.com
