best LT1 Catback?

im leaning towards a magnaflow or a loudmouth catback exhaust. its goin on a stock 95 Z28 and the car will remain stock. i like LOUD! but quality sound as well. ive found sounds clips of a stock LT1 with magnaflow and a stock LT1 with loudmouth 1 and both sound good. summit lists the magnaflow at 388.95 and lists a loudmouth for 432.95 PLUS! 84.95 for an installation kit, whats up with that? also id like to buy a NEW system, so dont bother offering me your old one lol k thanks.

maroman88 10-15-2007 10:13 PM

i have magnaflow it sounds low and nice at idle but screams when u open it up

Anti_Rice_Guy 10-16-2007 07:54 AM

I like the Hooker one. Oh and get a high flow cat...makes the car much louder both inside and out. ;)

I'm with j0n....if you are keeping stock manifolds and Y-pipe, go loudmouth all the way. It sounds great.

It's called an "s-pipe" and it's required for all 93-95 cars. When i installed my borla i needed to cut the s-section out of the intermediate pipe and i kept it. If you want it it'll cost ya 10 bucks from me but will need to be welded to the intermediate pipe of the loudmouth since it won't just bolt up. LMK

EDIT: I think my dad threw it out...ill have to double check to see if i still have it

maroman88 10-16-2007 06:29 PM
