First off no the car is not finished yet but its only a matter of a fey days untilthe K-member & Coil-Overs come in and the motor goes back in!

I spent a better half of the afternoon hanging out at the shop and almost dying but all in all another good experience!

Here are some pictures I snapped today!

Whats with the rusty a z z headers? Better photochop a ceramic coating on 'em!

BonzoHansen 10-17-2007 07:17 AM

Nice.

Hey Alex, if you can get those headers sandblasted, you could slap some Eastwood manifold paint on them. I did it top my headers and after ~2000 miles they have not discolored at all. A cheap alternative. But you have to prep them right (sandblast, wipe down with their cleaner PRE or laquer thinner).

I did the same with my stock cast manifolds, and they still look great. Only 500 mi or so, but still...

glad to hear the car is coming along. The car is going to look great riding that low. How will the ride quality be?

Teds89IROC 10-17-2007 11:43 AM

we gotta go get pictures of the two cars when you get it back 8-)

ar0ck 10-17-2007 12:39 PM

I'm only keeping those rusty headers until a company can provide me with a fair priced stainless steel stepped header :-)

The chop looks funny it was quick & brutal, but it will be pretty low.

since your car will be up and running again and mine is now running once again I think we need to get together again for another side by side photo shoot. this should bring back memories lol...

Expected power?

Best of luck
