anyone here play? anyone here interested in playing? i just got a server setup, 100%, uses the patched 2.2.3 client. 24x7

DIRECTIONS HOW TO PLAY:
1) Browse to http://stomping.servegame.com/ and REGISTER (this is your new user/pass for server auth)

2) On the left pane under "Game Guide", click How to Play.. It tells you everything, especially if you already have the game installed and updated, it shows you how to edit the server file.

3) Enjoy !

What do you mean server setup? Like you have your own private WoW server?

yes, my own private server, 100% fast, 100% free

but its WoW...an MMO.. you have to play on Blizzards servers. Do you mean regular Warcraft? im completely confused

How does one go about logging onto yours? Also, can you control gold and everything like the old Ragnarok Online stuff was?

if you can set me at level 70 off the bat and give me a ton of money ill consider reinstalling the game

yes i have my own WoW server up and running 24x7, there a file in your wow directory you can change the server settings easily, and you can play on my server for free anytime you want. i do have total control, i have three GMs on the server aside from myself and we're looking for users.

ill give it a try if you can give me more specific instructions lol .. ill reinstall tommorrow while i work out

lol ok. well i don't have a signup page setup just yet, but you have to edit the realmlist.wtf file in your C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\ directory, put a ; before both lines, then at the bottom add the following line:
set realmlist stomping.servegame.com

PM me a user/pass you would like to use to access the server. I'll have a signup page up asap.

Thats awesome! I beta'd the original one back in like November 05 and played it for a little when it came out. I may be interested once I see what my new schedule is like.

you need to have the burning crusades install, everything patched. client version 2.2.3 is the newest.

I like to be able to shoot n00bs with guns and vehicles, preferably with a AH-1Z Cobra, or AK47, in first person.

But I must say... Good luck with your server, as I never ever will look at WoW on the retail store's shelf, ever. Also....

I'm not sure why it would fail, but if anyone else gets this error message please either PM me or IM me on AIM: WhiteTA4u2NV, and I'll manually create your account.

fo free? well then i might borrow the instalation disc from my friend.

i might install it, i played the trial sometime last semester but wasnt all about paying each month to play the game. plus i wanna have a life outside of WoW :lol:

i just played on there last night...much more fun than playing on a real server, and its free. doesnt get much better

haha thanks, yeah now i have a writeup on the site "how to play" and it inclides all directions for ppl that wanna play but dont have the game, it has directions and links to all downloads, but warning: the WoW folder gets to 7.5gigs after everythings done
