89CamaroRS 10-29-2007 10:06 PM

maroman88 10-29-2007 11:14 PM

LOL

i do like the use of the vette rear end and side markers but please loose the wing and paint the whole car black

I'm impressed at how stock and clean the interior is!

It can be saved.

I am actually impressed with the paint work. no, I dont like the final product, but they used almost every trick in the book. scallops, marble, torn metal, drips, flames, airbrush, metalics and candies. a lot of very hard work there.

Buy it, media blast it to steel and start over. That thing looks like it would be on a poster in a girl's room during the '80s, right between Scott Baio and a unicorn.

Anti_Rice_Guy 10-30-2007 07:32 AM

A tonn of work put into that thing, but it's ugly as sin.

Agreed. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the paint job. Ugly as sin, but impressive.

It looks like the test vehicle for the local vo-tec advanced custom painting class.

just because a painter knows all the tricks doesn't mean they should pull out all the stops on one paint job... lots of hard work and talent, with no common sense to make it work.
