Projects update....
Here is the first of a series of randomly scheduled updates that I will be posting on a regular but sporadic basis...
Today’s update - the disassembly of a 4th gen that has given its life so a 1st and 2nd gen may live better lives. Removing the drive train. I don’t know if I did it right, but the deed is done. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4004s.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4009a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4013a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4014a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4020a.jpg The LS1 is for my 67. We’ll get back to that next year. The T56 is for my 77, that happens soon. This is the entire underhood harness. I only cut 1 wire, the bat term on the alternator. It was bad anyway. Harness weighs at lest 20 pounds. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4017a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4016a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4019a.jpg Now I have to finish getting the inside & undercar stripped. It’s mostly done. Anyone want to convert their hardtop to t-tops? LOL http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_3998a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3..._IMG_4000s.jpg |
taking that out was a lot of fun. make sure you call me when it is time to start putting that 6spd into the '77. that is going to be a fun job and make for ne heck of a DIY article.
