Check this new lambo out!
pretty awesome looking, but it looks too much like the murcielago IMO. i forget which one it was (murcielago or gallardo) but my dad and i saw one in person and it looked extremely unproportional. the nose was way too short and the butt end was too long
Lambo bases all of their cars off a similar design so of course its going to look similar to a Merc. I like this new one but I sence a strong hint of Enzo "Envy"
yea very true a lot of them do look alike
stupid, stupid, stupid. nice design, but 1.4 million for a updated merc, sorry, it doesnt wet my pallet, nor does the enzo. ive seen two enzo's so far in my life, and they have yet to enthrall me, not only that, but the enzo is so quiet, its quieter then a stock exhaust on a camaro, i have the vid and ill post it when I import it off my camera. but im sorry, anyhting from italy after 1974 is stupid, and more for design then racing purpose for that kind of money, I do not call cars who go under 200 a supercar, such as 360 modena's, 550 maranello's and assorted lambos. Now im not a one sided person where I think american cars are the best, every company has their own ideas that I like, and things that I dont, and I think european cars are more in the wallet then what you get. I know its the design and reputability of a ferrari that attracts the eye, but when you've been around the business that Ive seen, youd be just like me and not give a ferrari a second look. Ive seen from original GT-40's, original Corvette Grand Sport race cars, infact ive seen 40% of all grandsports made ( 2 of the 5 ever made) Ive seen 10 million dollar Ferrari GTO's and 1 Cobra Daytona coupe, which was driven by the CEO of Walmart. and much more, but you know what, where were the Lambo's? nowhere to be found, they have no real racing history, which does amaze me that they've been around this long without makign a name in racing.

I saw something about this on tv not too long ago. Pretty cool looking. I probably would have given it more power than just 10 over the Merc. I think the coolest Lambo ever was the Diablo VTTT. Only 8 were built, stock power was 752hp, but the stage 2 option was 854hp with two turbos, pushing the car from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. Lambo ran the Diablo GT in the LaMans Series a few years ago, but thats about it in terms of racing heritage, except for the countryside races in Italy and Europe back in the 60s.
I think the coolest European supercar right now is the Maserati MC 12XX. 800hp/780tq, 0-60 in 3.2, 0-180 in 19 flat, and a top speed of 242mph :D http://images.worldcarfans.com/artic...01/1026big.jpg http://images.worldcarfans.com/artic...01/1019big.jpg |
Whatever it costs that car is bad. Seeing it got its styling from the f22 raptor is pretty cool too
further proof that Italian engineering>all
Nice car but I have many more places I would put $1.4M first before I dump it into a car.

I looked up the Diablo VTTT... OMG....
Anyways; this is what Lambo is/was all about. IMO, they're going back to their roots as an exclusive exotic..the one and only one to have. Don't get me wrong; the Gallardo is a nice car...but it shouldn't wear a Lambo badge on it. Lambo was always exclusive, when someone had one they were "somebody". Ppl went "wow". They were priced so high to be exclusive. When not many ppl have somthing it makes it much more desirable. LIke i said; the Gallardo is a great super car, but at like $180 ($150K to start???) it makes it more afforable, thus (IMO) lowering the prestige of the name. Also, IMO, a Lambo consists of 2 things... 1. vertical dorrs! 2. a 12-banger When Al the accountant or Ed the Engineer can lease one, it ruins it for me. IDK why... A Merc STARTS @ $350K. That is where it should stand. |
It looks like the murcielago/gallardo but with a pointer nose and deeper side indents. AKA madd ugly

well money to power ratio the GT pwns, and them money left over from buyign the GT overthe lambo can go to a nice twin turbo setup, right now on streetfire, theres one doing the mile run at about 225mph!! in a mile, adn its still pulling, imagine how fast it could me like on the salt flats... and the GT is definantly better looking, why, cause its retro and it looks close to the original, and only 2500 have been made, but how many mercs and gallardos are flying around, and when was the lasttime they changed their look, its time to convert again lambo if you wanna catch my eye...
tru that jeff... but i do think stock ford GT will out run lambo, it can almost out run the enzo
have you ever seen the Ferrari P4/5? a guy took his enzo and spent another 3,000,000+ on having it converted into this, now this is the ultimate sexiness!!!!

thats an eye sore and those rims and exhaust are ugly id just get the GT and putting that much into a GT will make a beast of a car
