Need help checking automotive records
I have an 87 IROC that I have been building for 2 1/2 years. It is almost completed after a huge investment of time and money.
New Jersey just changed their rules to register a car as a classic. I have to submit proof and show that a limited number of these vehicles were made. My understanding is that GM did not make very many 87 IROC Z-28's with a 5.7 and T tops. Does anyone know what site to go to to check out this information. Thanks for you help. Artyy |
If your car was built in Canada you can get a sheet from GM Vintage Vehicle services that will probably contain the information you need in addition to looking very convincing. It costs around $50.
No guarantees of it working, however it's documentation from GM... |

We know about the problem with the new Collectors Registration rules, if you do a search in here in the Lounge you'll find a few threads over the last few months with a bunch of information. We have already contacted the SEMA Action Network for their thoughts, but haven't heard back from them yet. - Justin |
