Both Mirrors Do The Same Thing
 

My elec. mirrors will not move right or left just up/down. What can cause this?

The switch itself could be bad.

Does the switch pop out of the console? Or, do I have to remove the console to get to the switch?

-Pop the staple out of the front of the shifter and remove the handle (if auto), or unscrew the ball if manual.
-Lift up the console lid, take out the two 7mm screws on the black cover, and theres another under the ashtray.
-Carefully pull off the Radio trim bezel
-Lift up and try to flip the cover over (unhooking all the wires that are holding you down as you go.
-Pop off the wire connector on the switch and push it out of the console.
