New Full Time Job

Hey guys just started a couple of weeks ago over at MetLife in short hills. First real job right out of college getting used to working an 8 to 8 along with saturdays job right now just trying to build my client base. Also just recently started out with the great morning drive from edison parkway to 78 then to 24 man I feel for anyone that has to drive that way in the morning. Just wanted to send out an open invite to anyone with any kind of financial advice as thats the area that I am now making a career. Everyone on this site has always been more then helpful with any car realated questions so just looking to return the favor.

Thanks, Anthony

Congrats...being a freshman in college I have no financial advice other than to save a bunch haha. I commute to Seton Hall, so if ya see me drive by, be sure to wave or something.

I think he meant that he will offer some financial advice, since most people on this site are eager to offer car advice, he's returning the favor.

Cool. What will they have you selling? Do you have to get any registrations or licenses?

Thanks

Hey thanks everyone. Yea the license part was one of the hardest parts of the procedure I currently have my series 6 exam and my life and health producers license for the state of Nj. Basically means I can setup any type of mutual fund accounts, sell life, group buissness health, individual health, disability and long term care insurance. During the past couple of weeks I have learned more about the financial landscape then I ever learned at Rutgers. Just amazing the kind of options that are out there that many people know nothing about espically if you start out young saving. As for anyone still in college or just recently out in the buissness world we are continually growing our current office in short hills and one of the areas of my job description is recruiting new agents at all times. If anyone has an interest just shoot me a message would be happy to help.

My dad has been selling life insurance for 35+ years. Here's a hint, if you enjoy golf, join a country club and you can take potential clients out for a round while discussing life insurance and write it off as a business expense.
