the first one...orrr....stock

SteveR 12-04-2007 06:54 AM

The first ones look better, but I dont think you can have tinted headlights in jersey.

maroman88 12-04-2007 08:56 AM

there not tinted, the insides are just black.

depends on the color of the truck id say

i have actually seen the second ones on a rumble bee in person and they look pretty sweet...im sure they would look cool on the older style ram too

DaSkinnyGuy 12-04-2007 11:05 AM

1st ones or get those black GTO (brand) covers

ZeroCool8891 12-04-2007 11:19 AM

on my 94 ram i had the black outs. they looked pretty cool. i also had the 99 dodge sport heads and made the high beems into fog lights becuz the 95-98 has the one sealed beem so highs and lows are one.

I have a 97 2500 and want to run something brighter because where I live, they dont believe in street lights, and the deer are BAD. The stock headlights BLOW to say the least, I would love to go with the projectors but those ones in question are really kinda :gay: with the LEDs in them. The first ones look better, but I highly doubt will be better than stock...I think Im gonna have to spend the big bucks on a good set, or just try the first pair and see how they work. I gotta finish my brush guard before any of this, because I know Murphys law will kick in and Ill hit a deer once I put new headlights in. Ive already hit two on my street, and my buddy nailed one a few months back...crazy enough none of them died, no damage to my truck except for a loose bumper plastic, but my buddies Jeep had over $600 in damage.

GP99GT 12-04-2007 03:32 PM

ive heard teh ones with black reflectors arent quite as bright as normal lights

Tru2Chevy 12-04-2007 04:27 PM

Stay far away from those headlights with the black reflectors. They may look good, but light output is worse than stock. Black absorbs light, not reflects it.

yeah what he said...i was looking into them for my old grand prix, but heard light output kinda blew so i decided against it...i like being able to see

Slo86Bird 12-04-2007 07:40 PM

the color of the truck is black. if i get darker headlights i plan on getting extremely bright foglights that will work with the headlights. i just want the lights for looks tho

Slo86Bird 12-04-2007 07:44 PM

if u want brighter, these r for u... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-01...QQcmdZViewItem

Tru2Chevy 12-05-2007 09:44 PM

Or you could just keep the stock housings, clean them up, and get some high quality bulbs.

Just a thought.....

- Justin

Slo86Bird 12-05-2007 09:54 PM

i think imma buy the black ones.

Tru2Chevy 12-05-2007 09:58 PM

whyyyy do all the kids on this forum ask for opinions and then ignore them? you could have just bought them a day earlier if you were gonna ignore us anyway

Slo86Bird 12-05-2007 10:12 PM

i was leaning toward the black ones and i asked which one people think i should get...most people said the black ones. so i didnt ignore people opinions. i just dont wanna keep the stock lights. they look like crap imo

Mike 12-05-2007 10:15 PM

well since you bought ebay lights, make sure you seal them before you install them

NJSPEEDER 12-05-2007 10:30 PM

you better find the best bulbs in the history of the world. black reflectors aren't going to put out nearly as much light as even the stock ones.

BonzoHansen 12-05-2007 10:33 PM

To think I spent time making my headlights brighter! LOL

I know...why would you do that when you could get BLACK ones that look really cool, but don't really put out much usable light?!?!?

- Justin

Slo86Bird 12-05-2007 11:03 PM

i havent bought them yet and when i do, if i dont like them ill just put the stock ones back on till i find other ones that i like.
