Does this mount hard or are there rubber mounts used?

no rubber, just 4 bolts (6 if you get the TDS one) directly to the frame

Take out the 4 bolts that are holding up the sway bar, slide the Wonder Bar in, and reattach the bolts. I have one installed and it took about 5 minutes(on a lift). Could never understand why the FIREBIRD never got this part. It really seems to tie the front end together, especially around the steering box area.

I didn't even use a lift or jack it in the air or anything. The steering box area is a weak spot I've seen crack on a few people's cars.

Why the Firebirds didn't get it .. not a clue. Maybe to make up to the Camaro's for not having their own TV show
