I like the second one and 5th one. The problem with night pictures is the lighting. That yellowish glow kills pictures especially with a black car. If you don't have it already I'd look into a Adobe photoshop software and play with settings to try and get the "white" back into the pictures. Another thing, if your setting up to compose a picture try to make sure you don't capture things like parking signs, shoot with the light to your back, and make sure unwanted things are out of the pictures. I know night time shoots are difficult to find good spots but try to avoid parking lots. #5 would be great if you could just crop out the yellow parking area.

Also try and get your hands on a tri-pod so you can get away from the low angle floor shots.

Thanks for the pointers. I do need a tri-pod and photoshop. I was just messing around that night. Everything around here at night that's lit is a parking lot. The yellow color is actually from the yellow lot lights.

Photoshop is a life saver sometimes. I took these pictures the other night, so you can get an idea of what a raw image looks like, then after some processing.

You can see how the original is washed out from all the lighting, I also was using my truck to light up the passenger side of his car. I was using a very very fast speed on my camera that only picks up ambient light and nothing else. I know your only using a point and shoot, but those can still go a long way when you familiarize yourself with the settings. Your on the right track though!
