that was 3 yrs. ago -- my buddy bought a car from out-of-state, and went to DMV in Nov. '07 to re-title it... he still hasn't gotten the title in the mail

It depends on what state it's coming from, and whether the title is clear or in the hands of a lienholder.

Earlier this year I bought a Jeep from NY and got my title in the mail in less than a week.

Did the person you bought it from own the car outright, or were they still making payments on it?

Just my opinion I say look for the 98-02 Firehawk wheels. They are 5 spokes, and belong on a 4th gen. Everyone is doing the Corvette wheels and American TT'2 why not be different. but only my opinion
