2008 Yankees season tix
Me and Steve are getting the 20 game packs of season tickets, he wants to know if anyone else wants to go in with us. Tickets have only been on sale for season ticket holders for 2 days and a lot of the games are already sold out, individual games aren't even on sale yet.
If we can get a few people together we can work out something like 10 games each or whatever and save on ticket prices. |
Yea, basically we can pick any 20 games we want. It's $240 per seat for 20 games, so that's half off each seat, plus we get games before individual games go on sale. Just for season tickets alone a lot of games are already sold out, so I want to have them ordered within the next three hours or so. What I used to do with friends is say 20 friends wanted tickets but didn't want all 20 games, we'd get 10 seats for 20 games and let people pick which ones they wanted, so they'd be buying 10 games for $120. Not bad at all. If anyone is interested, let me know by about 1 or 2am which is when I'll be ordering them. I'd wait another day or so, but the games are going real fast and there are a few I really don't want to miss out on.

Also, if some of you guys only want to do like 4 or 5 games, that's cool too, if we can get three or four people that want to do that, I'll get an extra seat.
It's the last year of Yankee Stadium, so this is it! |
:wavey:
i'd take a pair of seats to 10 games (or 5 if someone else shows major interest) need to know though, how do you pick the games? because i would need pretty much all tues or weds night games and would like at least one to be against the rangers (i know im wierd, the girlfriend is the yankee fan) and if i read your post correct 2 seats for 10 games would be 240 right? |
yup, 2 seats for 10 games would be 240. I have the schedule in front of me and they play Texas Monday June 30 - Wednesday July 2, so you can do that Tuesday and Wednesday and pick 8 more games. If you want 2 seats for 10 games, I'll get two more seats and I'll need to find people for those seats for the other 10 games. As it stands right now, the games I'm definitely picking are;
April 2- Wednesday- Blue Jays (second home game of the season, Opening Day is already sold out) April 16- Wednesday- Red Sox (first Yanks/Sox game of the season) April 29/30 May 1- Tuesday-Thursday- Tigers (not sure which game, but it'll be one of them) May 16 or 17- Friday or Saturday- Mets July 4- Friday- Fourth of July- Red Sox August 2- Saturday- Old Timers Day- Angels August 26/27/28- Tuesday-Thursday- Red Sox (not sure which day) The final home games are 10 in a row starting on Friday September 12 against the Devil Rays, then Monday-Thursday against the White Sox, then the final weekend against the Orioles from the 19-21. I'll at least be getting Saturday the 20th, try for the 21st, and maybe a game against the White Sox and one against the Rays. That leaves at least 10 games open for whenever, including the ones against Texas. |
like i said, as long theres some texas and its mid week games, i dont mind the opponents, figure it out and tell me to pay lol
|
ehh ive been overruled, i have been told to ask for a boston game, and any night in the last homestand and nothing before may 11th (shes at schooL)
