Well, we found a house....

....and already put an offer in on it. :w00t:

We are hopefully signing the contract tomorrow, and we have set a tentative closing date of April 30.

It's a 4 bedroom, 2 full bath Cape with a huge kitchen and master bedroom.

Here's some pics if you want to see it: http://www.njfboa.org/JustinImages/Homes/Beacon

It will certainly put a big dent in our spending money, but we're excited!

Thanks!

Which one? There are two.....One is a mudroom in the back, and the other is the front bedroom/office.

Looks good Justin! I take it this is still in Ewing since I have no idea where Beacon AVe is? Inside looks really nice, not paintwork or anything needed. What about the plumbing and stuff? Not a fixer-upper?

Tru2Chevy 02-04-2008 08:37 PM

Yes, it's still in Ewing. I guess only locals would understand the DOT (NJ Department of Transportation) reference.

It does need a little bit of cosmetic work, but not much. As far as we know there is no major work to be done. We haven't had the inspection done yet though.

Yea...no garage and no basement. At least I get a carport. Not like I have a spare dime to spend on the car now anyway....

Well, it does have a little bit of a loft that you could sleep in, and plenty of room inside for some hay for the sheep also......

I was wondering if that might be in the neighborhood where my grandmother's house was. But she was farther down off of Parkway. You can take a job at DOT now and walk to work!

You're not under contract yet, you can still look and back out of this one if you wanted. :)

Congrats nonetheless. At this rate you may close before we do! lol

Wife, child, mortgage... I smell a minivan coming!

Congrats Justin. You'll be able to sing the money woes with the rest of us, dreaming about the day the car may actually move under its own power.

BTK79 02-05-2008 09:42 AM

Nice , good luck on the bid .
